Back in 2017 I purchased 4 new tires online at Tire Buyer.com. I wanted tires with silica in them because I read good things about that. Running cooler, lasting longer ...per my memory so I purchased Continental Pure Contact High Performance All Season. And they shipped them directly to this Monro Muffler near my house.
Assistant Manager Derrick S. was very helpful.
Yesterday I found a screw in one. I took the wheel to them today. And they fixed it this afternoon.
They fixed it with an integrated plug patch, from the inside of the tire.
These tires have about 17,000 miles on them and are doing real good.
I have taken my cars here before and they do good work. Per my conversation with a clerk years ago I understand the mechanics that work at this local are the most productive of this franchise in this greater metro area.
They did not charge me anything to fix this tire! And I wish I would have tipped them. I usually only tip in sit down restaurants and then always 20%. I worked at a service station putting myself through college and nobody really tipped us. And you don't see many full service gas stations around today. A lot of coffee and donuts type stations.
Really good to have a station nearby like this Monro store # 1080 that I can confidently rely on.
